Your Retreat Hosts
Dawn James is the Founder and Managing Director of Publish and Promote, a company dedicated to teaching you “the business of being a successful author.” Since 2010, she has helped hundreds of writers fulfill their dream of becoming published authors. She has over 20 years of experience in publishing (magazines, newspapers, and books).
Dawn James is an award-winning author for her afterlife story Unveiled: Autobiography of an Awakened One (2022 Reader’s Favourite) and a 14x best-selling author. She is a seasoned guest on radio, podcasts, and TV and an international public speaker sought after at conferences, author events, and writers’ retreats.
Angelique Doyle is a children’s book author and wellness coach who writes stories under her own name and a pen name.
A creative and natural joy-creator, she loves inspiring people to trust their voice. She values connection, accountability, and the shared spark that comes from telling stories together.
With her blend of creative support and wellness practices—including sound bath facilitation—Angelique enjoys helping writers feel grounded, open, and joyfully connected to their imagination.
ABOUT REESOR RANCH
For more than 120 years, generation after generation of the Reesor family have served as stewards of the grasslands stretching across the family Ranch. In 2017 the Historic W.D. & Alice Reesor Ranch became the first ranch in the Province to be designated as a Provincial Historic Site commemorating the role that the ranching industry has played in the development of Saskatchewan.
Today, Reesor’s family ranching operations is an award-winning bed and breakfast venue.
